Meet Our Incredible Team

Sarah graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (H2P!) with a B.A. in Biology, was a veterinary technician for 5 years, as well as a manager for a boarding kennel. During her time as a technician, she was involved in the behavior cases as well as training the CGC Star Puppy classes held on Sundays in the vet clinic lobby. She also became well versed in the ways of dog training as she helped clients part time as a dog trainer assistant as well as with basic training questions at vet appointments. After leaving the veterinary medicine world, she knew her calling was to work to create better bonds with dogs and their humans. In 2021, Sarah completed and earned her NePoPo® certification. Sarah has 2 Australian Shepherds (Freyja and Fletcher), a Border Whippet (Survey), a Whippet (Wager), and a clicker trained cat (Peachy), that has a repertoire of party tricks under her belt. She joined our team in 2021.

Courtney graduated from Cincinnati State with a degree in Business. She has always had a love and passion for dogs. She has a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Milo, and an Australian Shepherd named Echo, and this gave her a desire to learn more about dogs and dog behavior. She joined our Flyer's Paw Zone team in 2022.

Heather graduated from Sinclair Community College with a degree in Creative Writing. Animals have always been very important to her, which is what encouraged her to begin working at Flyer's Paw Zone and learn as much as she can about their behavior while spending time with the many dogs that walk through their doors. Heather has a Miniature Poodle named Shiro that keeps her busy at home when she's not taking care of the dogs at work. She joined our team in 2021.

Rachael is a high school graduate and plans on attending college to study veterinary medicine. She has a German Shepherd named Jake and a hedgehog named Rice, but someday would love to own some farm animals. She is very passionate about animals and is very eager to continue learning and working with them! She joined our team in 2023.

Maggie is a high school graduate that three years of experience in kennel tech and animal care, as well as growing up with multiple dogs in her home. Maggie has two boxers (Bernie and Annie), two German Shorthaired Pointers (Kaiser and Jaeger), a Schnauzer (Little Bit), and a Chihuahua (Pip). Maggie plans to attend Sinclair Community College to receive her real estate license, and later on plans to attend college to earn a business degree, and pet grooming school to soon create her own pet grooming commerce. Maggie wants to further her experience with dogs and become more educated on handling different temperaments that come with dogs at Flyer’s Paw Zone. She joined our team in 2023.

Paige is a high school senior at Fairborn High School. She is currently taking early college classes online with Sinclair Community College. Her plan is to major in Veterinary Technology once out of high school. She joined our team in 2023. 

Noel is a high school graduate who wants to make her career in art and illustration, and possibly also law. She has a dog named Bella that she's had since she was 9 years old, and a cat named Poptart who was welcomed into her family in June of 2021. She's always loved animals more than people and is very happy to be able to work with dogs every day. She joined our team in 2023.

Tiffany graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a B.A. in Zoology. Shortly after graduating, she began working with dogs at her local animal shelter and dogs have been her passion ever since. Over the last ten years, she has spent many hours working and volunteering with that animal shelter, gaining valuable experience with understanding dog behavior, handling and basic training. Tiffany has been married for 9 years and her and her husband have 3 young kids and 2 dogs. They currently have a 10 year old Bluetick Coonhound named Blue and a 6 year old Pug/Boxer mix named Mya. Sadly she had to put her first dog named Buddy (pictured), to sleep due to cancer at the age of 10 in August of 2023. Tiffany hopes to continue building her experience and knowledge of dog care and handling with us here at Flyers Paw Zone. She joined our team in 2023.

Trey is a high school graduate that has 3 ponies, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. In the future, Trey plans on rescuing dogs and different animals from across the world, to have a safer and healthier environment for them. He joined our team in 2023.

Leara is a 2023 graduate of Tecumseh Highschool. She has always had a high affinity for animals, and loves building relationships with the dogs at Flyer's Paw Zone. She enjoys learning about different aspects of canines, from breeds characteristic to body language. She plans on attending Miami University to get a degree in Zoology so she can work with exotic animals one day. She has one pet- a nameless kitten that loves to cause destruction. She joined our team in 2024.

Rheanne attends Greene County Career Center, studying Natural Resource Technology. After graduating she hopes to further her career in wildlife management. Her dream is to be able to help any animal in need. She grew up rescuing dogs and has developed a strong affinity towards them. Her best friend is a rescue pitbull, Journey, who she loves to hike, and sleep in on the weekends with. She joined our team in 2024.

Sequoia graduated from the Greene County Career Center studying national resources lab. She currently has 2 goats, 14 chickens, 4 rescue cats, 1 rescue dog. She loves any and all animals and growing her knowledge about them. She cannot wait to continue expanding her knowledge of dogs with Flyers Paw Zone. She joined our team in 2024.
